H1Z1 Optimize and Fix Low FPS/Stutter On PC

H1Z1_optimization_fps_fix

RESOLUTION & FRAMETIMES

Try to lower your resolution to something like 1600x900 or 1440x900
Never try to lower the 3D resolution, by lowering it by the internal resolution the FRAMETIMES will be lower as well.

HIGH FRAMETIMES = HIGH REACTION TIME AND DELAY

LOW FRAMETIMES = FASTER REACTION TIME AND LOW DELAY

[NEW] ClientConfig.ini

This allows you to tell the game the propper amount of your
CPU threads

Go into the gamefolder and search for the ClientConfig.ini
and open it

Hit CTRL + F on your keyboard and search for "DirectThreadCount" and change the value to your CPU Thread count (you can find it by google your CPU name)

[NEW] NO SHADOWS

YOU CAN DISABLE SHADOWS DIRECTLY FROM THE MENU SINCE THE NEW UPDATE

UserOptions.ini

So here you search in the gamefolder for the UserOptions.ini and open it.
Now search in the file for [Rendering], all values there are your graphic options...

Most of them arent in the game menu.

For me is an mix of Low to Medium settings fine
Change the RENDERING values to my values below
If your pc is slower than mine, follow the advices after the values written in BOLD TEXT

[Rendering]

EffectsQuality=2ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ×Mainly its for the render distance of the particles,
ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟdecide for yourself ×

OverallQuality=-1ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× Ignore it (-1 means the overall quality is on ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟCustom×

TextureQuality=2ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× 2 is fine for 2GB VRAM and above... Lower it when ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟyou still experiencing lags ×

ShadowQuality=2ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× You can set it to 1 or 0, but i like it on 2 becauce the ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟshadows look sharper ×

FloraQuality=1ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× Its the grasses and trees together, you can lower it ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟto 1 easily. (but on 2 you have more render
ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟdistance for Trees ... it looks better) ×

RenderDistance=1000ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× The sweetspot where you still can see where ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟyou flying on the beginning and have stable fps ×

UseDepthOfField=0ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× Disables any kind of DoF... less blur ×

Gamma=0.000000ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× Personal preference ×

UseLod0a=0ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ×Changes shape of objects at a distance ×

Smoothing=0ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× 0 disables FPS smoothing ×

SpeedTreeLOD=0ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× Tree Level of Detail ×

LightingQuality=0ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× Less darker inside and in forests ×

ModelQuality=1ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× Stones and object distance ×

VerticalFOV=65ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× Personal preference ×

ParticleLOD=2ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× Never go below 2, cuz below 2 you dont see effects ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟlike bloodsplatter on smal distances ×

FogShadowsEnable=0ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× Useless effect ×

VSync=0ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× Never enable!!! ×

AO=0ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× FPS eater ×

InteriorLighting=0ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× Personal preference ×

MaximumFPS=500ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× Personal preference ×

MaxLocalShadows=4ᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟᅟ× Broken/Disabled rightnow :( ×

[EXTRA] VIBRANCE.GUI

VibranceGUI helps you to manage the saturation level for each game individually

It makes your game look more colorful and maybe* spot enemies faster.

Simply go to VibranceGUI[vibrancegui.com] and download it
Then drag the .exe on your desktop. (or somewhere else where you can reach it easily)

Start VibranceGUI and tick the Autostart VibranceGUI box
Then start H1Z1 (or any other game, this program is universal)
ALT + TAB H1Z1 and go back to VibranceGUI, press add and select your game.

Now ajust the Vibrance level of your game (mostly put it to the max)

DONE
